I have been working as an editor and writer for nonprofit arts institutions since 2004. As a fiction writer and editor, I also work with writers to develop and enrich their manuscripts. This year, I embarked on my own to establish a freelance career that embraces both passions.
It is a creative challenge to market a play or book or exhibition as a product, while respecting its integrity as a work of art. As a communications specialist for world-class institutions, including Goodman Theatre and the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, I have developed exceptional marketing and PR skills uniquely tailored to promoting artists and their work. As a writer, I have a deep appreciation for the creative process, and I collaborate with my clients to represent the essence of their work in every marketing and PR piece.
